Hope You won’t be angry with us if we didn’t write anymore on the blog.
It’s been a very hectic period and we worked very hard on a lot of project and really didn’t find the time to put our fingers on the keyboard to share what was happening with You.
Of course, there are a lot of other “social” way to reach You, but it’s fun to be on this blog.
So, little by little, we’re gonna show You what’s going on at malleusdelic headquarter.
And what has happened there in the last weeks, of course.
Before showing You the new poster coming out in the next days, we want to remind You that Ufomammut (the band featuring Poia and Urlo with Vita) has a new record coming out in a couple of weeks and You can preorder one of the limited edition vinyls going HERE.
Moreover, I’m happy to announce we’ll be in the States and Canada in May (again, with Ufomammut… but never knows… we could be there as Malleus as well… You know we’re magic people!).
And of course, we’ll be in Europe too!
Check the dates HERE.
Said that, let’s go with the new print coming next week.
It’s for a Seth Avett and Jessica Lea Manfield gig in Nashville.
They’re touring the States supporting the new album in which they cover 12 Elliott Smith songs.
So, we took inspiration from a picture we found on internet of Elliot playing a mask on his face with his hands.
So we decided to pay homage to him, in our way.
The poster is on a light cream thick paper, it’s a 6 colors handprinted silkscreen and it’s a limited edition of 130 pieces.
First color is a red ink.
Then we worked on a shade from a metallic green to a gold.
The third screen has been for another shade, from a scarlet red to a blue.
And finally we used a dark brown to define the image.
80 copies will be on sale at the show on the 17th of March, the remaining ones will be on our webstore the day after.
So, stay tuned for more!
Listening to Marissa Nadler right now.
